This video of the ever brilliant Sougwen Chung is fascinating. 'Assembly Lines' works at the very edge of human and machine collaboration. Here emotion is at the heart of a direct collaboration with machines, and what is more inherently human than emotion?

As Ms Chung meditates her biometrics are interpreted by the AI driven robotic arms. The arms paint in response to her input. Her emotional response then affects her biometric readings, changing what the arms are creating.
